Tackle the elements…
Saga is a 20 year old girl who works in a flower shop. Once upon a time, together with two of her friends, Diana and Maurice, she finds herself in a land that is not on any map, and yet this land exists. It is the land of imagination. The three friends end up in the palace of Fantasia, the queen of this land. Saga learns that she has been chosen to go on a mission to eradicate evil from the land of Fantasia.
Fantasia's palace is surrounded by gardens of glowing Magic Flowers whose radiance protects against the evil that lurks in the palace after dark. There are five most important flowers in Fantasia's garden, which symbolise goodness and which gave Fantasia supremacy over her adversary. Because they had been stolen, evil began to overrun both the land of Fantasia and her palace. After dark, the Magic Flowers in the palace begin to fade, and the evil emerges from the corners, lurking in the darkness, waiting for their victims.
Walking through the gardens, Saga meets a young man Julian, who is sullen, gruff and not very kind to her. He turns out to be her Guardian, who will teach her how to bond with nature in the Fantasy Land so that it will protect her during her dangerous mission, and how to use the forces of nature, the elements, to defend against evil. With the Guardian's guidance, Saga tries to win the favour of plants, animals, earth, fire, water and air. Julian and Saga's partnership is not going well. The Guardian is not fond of Saga as the Chosen One. She is often disobedient and gets into trouble.
The first flower Saga must retrieve is the Golden Dahlia, a symbol of light. To get it, the Chosen One must reach the Murky Swamp, where the dahlia is to be found. The Murky Swamp is the land ruled by Queen Ludmilla, whose castle has been overrun by a swamp. Legend has it that one day Ludmilla's ghostly castle and its owner will rise from the swamp.
